East End Market

One of my favorite nearby places is the East End Market in the Audubon Park area of Orlando.  If you haven't visited already, I would recommend you stop by; it has a little something for everyone!

The concept is simple, one large building housing several small permanent market "stalls"-- similar to major markets you find in London (like Covent Garden or Borough Market). At East End Market you can find everything from fancy coffee to BBQ to flowers. You can grab a beer or coffee or whatever you like from any vendor and then head out to enjoy the sun in the communal garden (of which many plants are for sale). It's a great place to relax and people watch. If you are lucky, you might even catch some live music!

Local Roots, my favorite and most frequented, stall has a great little bar and food section from local farmers and artisan brewers and vintners.

Here are a few photos from a recent visit!
A view of some of the veggie planters used in the market food.

Plenty of Seating.

All the plants near the blue table are for sale.

Enjoying some local beers from The Cask and Larder.

I have an Olive Tree obsession. It's a Scripps thing.

Yellow Bougainvilleas! Who knew?!

Be locally inspired!

PS- This is not a sponsored post. It's 100% me.
